It seems BoA has established a good relationship with SBS since KPOP STAR. They gave her a full one hour slot to air her BoA 4354 Comeback Show which is a rarity for KPOP artists. The KPOP STAR staff actually produced this show too! Around 400 lucky fans got to attend the filming of her performances which took 13 hours to complete! By that time it was like 4AM and the show chartered buses to send fans home whille BoA herself continued shooting other parts til dawn and had an interview scheduled in the morning. She had practically no time to properly sleep and you can be sure this shall continue until the end of 7th album promotion period.
Her efforts paid off though. The show was very well-made and fun to watch showing various sides of BoA. It starts with her singing old hits including Hurricane Venus, My Name, Girls On Top, No.1. BoA looks really pretty and is full of energy. It looks like her mini-concert with Jumpings cheering enthuastically. ^^
After that, they play VTR showing scenes of her working on composing "Only One", her fooling around in the practice room, her talking about songs on the new album, interleaving with the performances of the new songs which include The Shadow, Not Over U, Mayday Mayday and surprisingly BoA decided to sing "Namoo", a ballad off her 3rd album "Atlantis Princess" released 9 years ago too. This is the 2nd time she sang it on stage (the 1st time being after her manager died in accident 9 years ago) and it's the most emotional stage of the whole show. T-T
The highlight of the show, however, is the couple dance with Yunho in "Only One". They have amazing chemistry despite the height difference between the two, dubbed "Tom and Jerry" by BoA herself. The BTS clip of them practicing together shows how close they are too.
After they announced the plan of this 4354 show, SBS openned a website for the show and let fans post questions to BoA and it was none other than Lee YeonHee who read these questions to BoA in the show. Thanks to her, we fans learnt that BoA complained a lot while exercise. ^^;
BoA also visited the drama "Gentleman's Dignity" set and they readily wished her luck on the new album. (I personally am not sure about the idea behind this segment. Is it to emphasize her drama-addict image or is it simply for more exposure of the drama? But it's already doing really well. @_@)
My favorite, however, is the extra 20s at the end of the show. "BoA's day in 20 seconds" clip. So adorable! You must look it up in youtube or something, no cross that out, just watch the whole show!
PS. 4354 is the number of days from her debut to the broadcast day of this show. :)
