Tail of Hope promotion

Since I did this kind of post for Only One, it's only right that I do the same thing for Tail of Hope as well. XD

So let's see what we've got, apart from the average TV CM, and ads truck running around Shibuya and Harajuku.













1. "Catch the Tail of Hope" Campaign
The campaign has a really nifty idea of placing the kinect-equipped photo booth at Tower Records Shibuya branch and let people take animated photo with a tail of their choice. The Tail's Photo then can be retrieved later on the campaign site.

Cute tail blog parts code also available on the site for bloggers to decorate their blogs. The tails also lead visitors to the campaign site. Try dragging the tail from the right side of the screen out! ->


2. SOUL 10th Anniversary Fanclub Event
Held on Jun 29th, 2013 at Stellar Ball, Shinagawa, Tokyo. BoA did a mini live and had an Q&A talk session with fans. People who bought "Tail of Hope" CDs at the venue also received special gifts. This event was so successful it shot "Tail of Hope" up to no.3 on Oricon Daily Chart.

The tail photo booth was moved from Tower Records Shibuya to the fanclub event venue on this date too.
The event gained interests from the media and was reported on TV, several newspapers both online and offline.

3. Costume Display
Unlike for Only One, where the outfits were displayed only in Osaka, for Tail of Hope, the outfits worn by BoA in the MV were displayed at 2 places: Tower Records Shibuya branch and Umeda Osaka Maru Bldg. branch.

4. Release Date Promotion
On Jun 26th, which is the release day for "Tail of Hope", apart from the "Tail's Photo" booth, there were also paper fans handed out at Tower Records Shibuya branch.
