BoA: It's a refreshing summer song. It's also used as an opening theme for a drama (Hakui no Namida). It's a song with perfect sense of the season.
-The MV is also full of your summer-like expressions.
BoA: Yes. It was shot in Saipan. It was really fun like a (half work) half vacation. (LOL)
- Did you enjoy your free time there?
BoA: I thought I'd have more free time but unexpectedly I was kept busy with location and clothes changes. (LOL)
- That's a shame.(LOL) Talking about your previous work "Only One" which you've written yourself, do you have any plan to write more songs in the future?
BoA: Well, it'd be nice if I can. But my job first and foremost is singing/performing. I want to balance creative work in a way that my main job is not effected.
- What kind of influence did you get from KPOP Star?
BoA:A lot of songs sung in the audition are old songs. I feel that songs with good lyrics/melodies will last long. Of course, the trend is also important but I want to leave good music in the scene.
- What do you deem important in audition?
BoA: Singing power and persuasive power.
- Persuasive power?
BoA: Yes. Simply singing well is also important but it's meaningless if you can't reach audiences' hearts.
- It's different from expressive power?
BoA: Expressive power is when you make audience go 'Wow!' looking at you sing but for persuasive power it's when audience go 'I experienced such thing too'.
- I see! Subject change. How's the fans' reaction to your new single?
BoA: Since 'Only One' was released in Korea last year, when it was released here, fans must have thought 'I knew she'd released it here' (LOL) Since it's an original song this time, I look forward to reaction from fans too.
- Fan club event will be held on Jun26. Tell us your feelings!
BoA: I havn't been singing in front of fans in Japan in a big while so I'm really excited. I wish fans look forward to it too.
- How are you different from the you 2 years ago?
BoA: Recently I'm able to moderately refresh myself in between working.
- How do you refresh yourself?
BoA: Travelling. I went to Italy recently. I was the only one in my family who'd never been to Italy. It was vexing (LOL).
- LOL!
BoA: My mom's been there 3 times! (LOL) In Italy, the scenery there can't be found in Asia or America so it's good that I went there. I was refreshed and wanna visit again.
- You like it a lot.
BoA: But I'm the type that can enjoy anywhere (LOL). The bread and gelato in Italy was so good. I was startled by that. Eating gelato while enjoying the beautiful scenery, that's the best (LOL).
- I can feel how much you enjoyed it.(LOL) Please tell us about your future if you can.
BoA: There're a lot of schedules waiting, even though I'm not allowed to talk about them yet! A lot of works I've been asked to do (LOL) so I'm only to do my best and finish each and everyone of them. (LOL)
- (LOL) Fans must be excited to learn that. What about your personal goal or things you'd like to try?
BoA: Wakeboard! When I was young, it was indoor-sports for me, but recently I've become awaken little by little to the world of outdoor sports!
- Normally, it'd be the other way around...(LOL)
BoA: eh?! Is that so? (LOL) But even though I might go on a trip or go have fun, I also always finish my work completely (LOL).

BoA: "Tail of Hope" is released already. It's a song that everyone can enjoy especially in summer. Wish everyone will listen to it when you go out and have fun or in summer festival. I also want to do concerts in the future so please listen to this while waiting!

BoA ever so funny with how she's not happy with the fact that her mom visited Italy 3 times already. And the interviewer's right. Mostly people would play outside when they were younger. BoA grew up backward. XD
