BoA starts the show by recapping what she has done in the past 7 years, followed by her new album introduction, and Q/A from fans.
"I laughed listening to BIBW BGM again in 7 years."
"This 8th album contains a lot of singles. It's a very high quality album consiting of various genres: pop, ballad, dance, R&B, EDM. It can be enjoyed with various moods."
Commentary of each track in WHO'S BACK
1. FIRST TIME - The MV is documentary style showing recording session of the song and what we do during breaks. There's scene of me making quesdilla in the MV too. I hope it will be more fun listening to the song after watching the MV.
2. Shout It Out - I recommend everyone to see the MV. I think it's the first time avex uploaded whole song MV to youtube (since usually they only upload short versions). It features a strong choreography and girls power with all the girl dancers.
3. Only One - This was originally my Korean album's title song before so I've been singing and dancing to it for one whole year. The choreography for this song is lyrical hiphop genre. Many were saying they didn't expect the song to have so much dancing to it. It's a song I composed and written myself. The lyrics depict a couple's breakup scene realistically. I've heard guys could relate with the song which is unexpected for me.
When I make a song, usually the melody and words pop up at the same time. For this song, the phrase "You're the only one" came out first. The phrase sounds positive but the melody is sad. It was raining both when I was writing the song and when I was recording it(the Korean version). For Japanese lyrics, they only gave me 3 days so it was tough.
4. FUN - This is a coupling song of Masayume Chasing single. It was recorded in Korea and the amount of recording was huge. When it comes to the part "FUN FUN FUN FUN", everyone in the recording studio became energetic. Personally I also listen to this song when I want to energize myself.
5. Message - I've shared before that I counted the number of times I said "Message" during recording. It was about 10+ times. I personally like the guitar loop, lead line in the song. Also the atmospheric acoustic guitar sound. The MV was shot in Korea in midsummer. Please check it out too.
6. Woo Weekend - The oldest single in the album. With the synthesizer sound, it's of 80's oldies genre. I guess old ppl can relive their youths through this song. LOL I've just realized I had this kind of song when I listened to it again recently. You know how after some time has passed, it's the same song but you feel more about the notes? It's interesting. (*sorry weird translation I know T-T)
7. Milestone - It's the song released for my 10th Anniversary. The song and also the MV is about expressing myself. A mellow ballad with piano and strings. The vocal range required makes it hard to sing though. During the 10th Anniversary concert, I sang I SEE ME and Milestone back to back and maybe because of the lyrics, I almost cried.
8. I SEE ME - Audio-technica CM song. Friends were messaging me saying I heard your voice on TV. LOL There's this phrase in the lyrics "signpost guiding me". The song is about giving courage to self, reflecting on oneself. People who are lost may find courage after listening to the song. I was in my mid 20's when I released this song so I was at a point where I had to find my path once again. As I was singing this song, I also reflected on my own life. It gave me a lot of messages.
9. Masayume Chasing - newest single. MV was shot at Tokyo Disney Resort from 1am-1pm. Isn't it luxurious having Disney Resort all for yourself? At first, I didn't know what masayume means. Asking Japanese people, all gave different answers. LOL One thing is for sure though. It's not the same as deja vu. I've never had masayume. I normally can't remember dreams. I try to remember when I'm having one but forget when I wake up anyway. Guess I can say I'm truely chasing masayume.
(*masayume means dream that comes true)
10. The Shadow - I wrote lyrics to this song comparing fans to shadow because fans follow me everywhere to cheer for me. My brother directed the MV and it features cool dances and camera work. So please check it out too.
11. close to me - A relaxing tune with real drum+guitar sound. The girl in the lyrics is so cute that I wanted to know who wrote it. But turns out it was a guy so I guess this is the ideal girl for guys. After recording, I also requested it to be mixed to sound like humming.
12. call my name - The girl in the lyrics acts strong (and hide her weakness). I remembered talking about how "girl's alright doesn't necessarily mean alright" with a female interviewer and we got a kick out of it. A male member in the staff was like "thanks for educating me." LOL The lyrics portray both the real thoughts and lies of girls. Well I am also female so yes I'm like that too. LOL
13. Baby You... - This song is a present for fans who came to my first solo live in Korea. It was difficult translating the lyrics from Korean to Japanese. It was about a girl wanting her guy to understand her.
14. Tail of Hope - A positive song with lyrics "Catch the tail of hope". I picked this up-tempo song to finish off the album so that listeners can feel happy when they finish the whole album. I wish to jump together with everyone in the concert.

Answers to fans' questions.
Q: BoA's tried American movie and Korean drama. What's your reason for challenging yourself in acting?
A: Because it was a dance movie so I became interested. I'll try my best in both music and acting so please support me in both.
Q: What's your secret in growing into a beautiful adult?
A: I guess it's to get rid of stress. When bad things happen, just let it go by thinking "I guess these things do happen". Also even though outer appearance is important, inner feelings also affect visuals. So try to think positively and be flexible.
Q: How are you preparing for the concert tour?
A: I've been rehearsing. The band, dancer, director and staffs are all new so I've been adapting in order to deliver a good show.
Q: I like BoA's self composed-written songs. Do you write from your own experience?
A: Partly yes. I also get ideas from movie, drama, friends' stories and mix them with my own experience. I'm also writing a song now, hope everyone can listen to it in the future.
Q: What's the difference between your old and current self?
A: There's definitely the difference. Now I voice out my opinions more during production. I love behind the scene works. Acting is also another area where I've grown.
