[translation] 131114 Otani Nobuhiko Good Job radio

DJ: What's Japan's good point in your opinion.

BoA: There're a lot of tourist spots in Japan and I've notice hanguls written below the station names recently. It's very convenient for the tourists.(BoA had a hard time pronoucing the word "ryoko"(travel) and got angry. It's adorable. DJ teased her saying maybe she needed some pudding to which BoA replied with "It's coffee for me now".LOL)

DJ: What about Korea?

BoA: There're a lot of delicious and not-expensive restaurants in Korea.

Then they talk about Korean food, particularly Ddukbokki which, according to BoA, tastes best at street stalls.

BoA: There're a lot of hi-end Japanese restaurants/Sushi places in Korea. I can't help thinking "This will cost much cheaper in Japan!" while eating. (LOL) Like uni(sea urchin), it's from Japan, I should go to Japan to eat it, why eat in Korea? LOL

For shopping in Korea, BoA recommended Dongdaemun which opens until very late at night and is surrounded by many good restaurants.

BoA: Everybody likes it when I take them there.

DJ: I've heard about clubs in Korea.

BoA: Yes, it's Hongdae for clubs. Koreans like music and dance. We like entertainment.

Then they talk about the relationship of Japan and Korea. BoA wished the two countries would continue the cultural exchange and the likes, etc. DJ talking about a manga artist who recently passed away...

DJ: You have resumed activities in Japan since Feb this year with the single "Only One". How's it going to be from now on?

BoA: I'll continue to work in both countries. This year, I've released 3 singles and I'm working toward making an album, delivering good music to everyone.

DJ: Have you started works on your new album?

BoA: I could have just put together all the singles in hand and I'd have an album already. I've been releasing only singles and a lot of them too! A BEST album would come out soon, going at this rate. LOL

DJ: You've been writing your own songs too. Is it fun?

BoA: Tough but fun.

DJ: Where do they come from? Are they fiction or real experiences?

BoA: Both. If not both, the result would be weird. If 100% real, it might turn out too raw, but if 100% fiction, it might be hard to relate with.

DJ: Please tell us your goal/wish?

BoA: I'd like to be able to dance like when I was in my teens. LOL

DJ: Your dances are still crisp.

BoA: I was able to stay crisp three songs in a row before but now... LOL

DJ: You need breaks between songs?

BoA: Yes. 20s has its own charms/merits though. LOL

DJ: For closing, please leave a message for fans.

BoA: I haven't talked this much on Japan radio for a long time. I wonder if the audience have fun as much as I do.

DJ: Of course they do. You're a wonderful person. You're very normal. Wait that sounds rude. How should I put it? You're frank and man-like(what's the word? he meant unladylike but not in a bad way).

BoA: Right. A while ago in my fanclub event, I asked my fans why I can't seem to date and they answered I was too man-like.

DJ: (like it so much he claps his hands loudly while laughing) You must fix that.

BoA: Yes, I'll have to learn the tricks from now on.

(note: please listen to the interview also. it's a lot more fun than my dry translation.)
