DJ: How did your brother react?
BoA: He congratulated me. My brother is a man of high caliber.(LOL)
DJ: So it was thanks to your brother that you could debut. A year after that, you debuted in Japan. How was it?
BoA: I was too young to feel anything back then.
DJ: Were you excited?
BoA: I was like "Overseas? Airplane?" (LOL)

BoA: I studied the language from Korea but spoken Japanese is totally different from the textbook. Especially Tamego(Casual speech). Like you can't say "Ohayo"(Mornin') to a show producer (because it's too casual). It took me a big while to learn to use levels of speech properly.
DJ: I heard there was time when you went back to Korea because of no schedule.(no work)
BoA: Yes I went back and study hard then I got a phone call to fly back to Japan. Nobody thought L2MH would do so well.
DJ: I heard you listened to Utada Hikaru's "Time Will Tell" to sooth your soul back then.
BoA: Yes. Even now, I still like this song very much. The phrase "We'll know when time passed" is forever touching.
DJ: Have you ever met her?
BoA: At Music Station, I think. But we've never really talked. This song was released when she was 16. I wonder what kind of feeling she had when she wrote it. I still like the song very much.
DJ: After L2MH, VALENTI was released in August and became a big hit. Did you start to think "Things will go well.(certain of future success)" then?
BoA: Well... Back then I think... Yes, I think "Things will go well." (LOL)
DJ: Fabulous! (LOL) Then you sang in Kouhaku Utagassen (Japan's New Year show where only top stars get to attend)
BoA: I was the top batter (the first to sing) and the seniors were standing at the side watching me perform. It was such a big pressure. I mean Wada Akiko-san was right there watching me closely. I was like can I faint? (LOL) It was nerve-wrecking.
DJ: After being famous, was your life changed? like when you walk in town.
BoA: Works increase and I had no time to walk around in town. If it was not for tv show recording, I would have no chance to go out at all.
DJ: Do you go places in Japan now?
BoA: Yes, I do now.
DJ: Any place you like in particular?
BoA: Fuji-Q Highland (amusement park near Mt.Fuji) My manager took me there without checking first. When we arrived, there were only 2 hours left before closing and the famous roller coaster Fujiyama and Dodonpa were closed too. I was like "why didnt you check first?!" and I was so excited for the trip! So we could only play the kiddy rides and my manager still managed to get dizzy and vomit! (LOL)
DJ: You must go there again for the cool rides.
BoA: Yes, I'd like to.
DJ: Back to Valenti, (and he talks about this baseball player whose name is Valenti....)
BoA: Is this even related to what we're talking about? (LOL)
