BoA: He's such a big star who created new elements, like his dances, to the music industry. I wonder there'd be anyone who could do it like him.

DJ: As you grow older, did you discover something new about him?

BoA: There're many people now who can do MJ moves like moonwalk and lean but like... how did he invent those moves? It's a totally different thing. And other things too like adding step sounds, battle scenes into the MVs and making 10mins+ MVs.

DJ: I've heard you've covered his songs. Beat It?

BoA: Yes I sang Beat It in Quincy Jones Tribute Concert and Billie Jean in my XMAS concert a few years ago, dancing alone (LOL).

DJ: with gloves on?

BoA: Unfortunately, no gloves (LOL)

Then they talk about her working hard as a pioneer(for Korean artists) in the industry.

BoA: No, I didn't feel pressure at the time. I was only 14 and my Japanese skill was not good. I only concentrated in the jobs up in front of me, be it interview, or tv show.

DJ: What was your mental support back then?

BoA: Japan snacks are delicious! The puddings. My manager, who's still around now, would bring me cakes and pudding then and even now that I'm an adult. (LOL) I didn't know those puddings were so expensive! But back then, no matter how hard the dance routines are, I'm fine as long as I have my puddings (LOL) My manager would give me nothing at night though when I was on diet. I was like... I need sugar... (LOL)

DJ: Did you give any advice to your juniors (Tohoshinki, Shojojidai, etc.) about working in Japan?

BoA: I worked in Japan alone until the middle/latter part of 2000s that my juniors started to come. They asked me about working in Japan industry but I think working as a solo is different from working as a group so I couldn't give them any good advice. So I could only tell them to work hard (gambare!). Like as long as you work hard, you'll be rewarded. Something along that line (LOL)

DJ: I notice KPOP music standard is very high. It's no different from international(western) level.

BoA: There're a lot of collaborations with western producers so I think the level is higher now.

DJ: What kind of song is your new song "Message".

BoA: The writer of this song is also a westerner. I think the most important thing in music is about conveying the message to listeners. I want to send love to audience. (BoA was having a hard time answering this question. LOL or maybe it's just me who cannot make sense of her answer. it's kinda fragmented and I paraphrased.)
