【BoA】 The MV was shot in Saipan. The sea was beautiful. I felt bliss when I was on the yacht, surrounded by the sea and the sky. But the sun was so strong and there was also additional lights for shooting, so beneath the smile, it was kinda tough.
――Oh but from the MV, it looks like you had so much fun there. I naturally became energetic after watching it.
【BoA】 Then fighting with the sunbeams for a long time was all worth it.
――There was no rain the entire shooting?
【BoA】 It was going to rain according to the weather forecast but there was no rain at all during shooting. It rained heavily as soon as we finished though.
――So you're a sunny lady?
【BoA】 No, I'm supposed to be a rainy lady. At a-nation Osaka 2 years ago, it rained heavily for my segment right from the beginning to the end. Once I finished, the rain also stopped. Unbelievable! (LOL) Isn't it too much?
――Great power was drawn to your performance
【BoA】 I don't need that kind of power...(bitter laugh) But I was a sunny lady in Saipan so from now on, I should transform into a sunny lady. uh but wait... I don't like hot weather. Some clouds would be nice.(LOL)
――Funny happening during shooting?
【BoA】 Catering bento(lunch box) was funny. (LOL) The staff was being considerate of me and made half of it Japanese food and the other half Korean food. So I somehow got to eat Nikujaga in Saipan (LOL) Since the schedule was tight, we didnt have time to have proper meals at restaurants. After the shooting, I had to fly back to Korea that night. The shooting ended at 6pm and at 11pm I was at the airport.
【BoA】 During the yacht scene, it was alright for me but a lot of the staff members around me got sea-sicked. It was pretty hard for them.

――What your favorite fashion?
【BoA】 White t-shirt, I guess. Isn't it sexy to see bikini under T-shirt? (LOL) I was joking. Well for me, I prefer simple and comfortable outfits.
[*BoA actually uses the word "swimsuit" not "bikini" :P]
――You wrote Baby You.. lyrics yourself.
【BoA】 In the Korean lyrics, there are a lot of wordplay. Meanings won't get across if translated literally so I wrote almost the whole thing anew. The MV also portrays the image of memories and break-up scene time slip.
――In the MV, SHINee's Taemin plays the role of your lover.
【BoA】 I did couple dance with Taemin on music shows. The idea came up that one of the dance partners should act with me in the MV.
――He looks so grown-up, I didn't recognize him at first. You two did a good job acting as a couple.
【BoA】 I made him turn into an adult.(LOL) But Taemin himself also wanted to portray his manly side in this MV, so he prepared himself prior to filming.But we NGed a lot! The song was sad but the filming atmosphere was totally not! (LOL) Filming a serious scene, but we laughed whenever our eyes met. (LOL)
――Because your relationship is like that of siblings in the same family, so it was more awkward.
【BoA】 Taemin felt huge burden for acting. He asked me "How can you cry?" "How to cry?" For me, I just let myself into the world as described in the lyrics, and tears naturally flow out.

【BoA】 Please be sad and cry a lot for this song. (LOL) After crying, please listen to Tail of Hope and bring your smiles and hopes back. The two songs are a total opposite. Please enjoy both feelings and the gap between the two.
――In 「Tail of Hope」 lyrics, there's a phrase "Not completely hidden, Not completely thrown away, Just as I am". Are you the type that can't hide your thoughts?
【BoA】 That's right. It's all on my face. Just look at my face, and you'll know what I'm thinking.
――There's a part that goes "Just cry, cry, cry and scream to your heart's content". When things are not going well, what do you do?
【BoA】 Actually it depends on whether the problem can be resolved by myself or not, but I'm exactly like in the lyrics. Recently, there was this stage that I was not satisfied with, it was so vexing I couldn't stop crying. But things not going well are mostly things we cannot control. If it's something I can control, of course I'd like to fix it. But if that's not the case, then it's meaningless and useless pining over it. I've come to realize this fact after working as a singer for a long time. (LOL) So at such times, I'd just cleanly throw it away. (LOL)
――Anything you can't throw away?
【BoA】 umm... work, I guess? I might be able to give it up if I want to but I definitely cannot give it up.
