[translation] 140313 SSTV Ongaku Himitsu Jouhou Kikan MI6

[MI6] BoA can switch between Korean and Japanese right from the airport. Japanese mode kicks in right after she lands at Haneda airport.

[MI6] BoA can dance so well with no mistake so it's hard for her dancers (since they can't make mistakes themselves)

[MI6] During dance practice in front of mirror, BoA noticed a dancer made a mistake and their eyes met, making the atmosphere awkward ^^;

[MI6] BoA learned dances faster when she was young. Now her head is full of past choreography. Easily confused especially for similar moves

[MI6] BoA tends to be confused with direction (left-right) too because she sometimes need to practice with vdo (opposite direction).

[MI6] Sometimes she's too busy and only has one day for rehearsal while her dancers have 3 day to practice. (so she practices with the vdo)

[MI6] Shout It Out dancers are all younger than her. (that's why they are nervous, i think) :P

[MI6] BoA's fast learning is a trouble for choreographers since they don't have the dances down yet."I'm still not sure about the next part"

[MI6] the host compares it to "One piece anime caught up with the serialized manga" <= funny comparison LOL

[MI6] contrary to what the hosts think, BoA's bad at sports. she can't swim but she's good at boxing which she learnt recently.

[MI6] BoA's got good body control so she can dance and box well but bad at sports using equipment.(how come she's not good at swimming tho?)

[MI6] At the female host(Nicole) awkward dance, BoA smartly remarked "It's only because your arms are so long, it takes longer to stretch out."

[MI6] BoA shared about her experience debuting in Japan at age 14. Her 1st show being with Downtown who use Osaka accent ...

BoA complained the JP language textbooks are full of expressions used in business meeting and the likes and they are too old for a young girl like her to use.

secret #1 BoA easily cries now
BoA "I usually don't cry at concerts but lately, tears naturally come out when I'm touched"

BoA shared her story about not being able to sing merikuri in her 10th anniversary concert because she couldn't stop crying and her staff made her sing again because they need it for the DVD.

She didn't want to sing again because it has already ended beautifully. (Her fans helped her sing when they saw that she couldn't.)

BoA "They're so sly. In the end, they put both versions in the DVD!"

secret #2 BoA's 2 problems
problem 1. BoA wants to be more feminine
BoA shared that her fans have been with her for a long time so they're apt to say mean things to her. About the reason she has no boyfriend, her fans say things like "You should act more girly", "The abs must go".

Speaking about the abs, BoA shared that during Shout It Out PV filming, her abs were really noticeable (she "power up" for the Big Match film), so they need to put more light to cover up the abs.

BoA continued on that she also cannot cook.

Nicole (female host) said she'd started putting on body cream to be more feminine. The male host said that's nothing special, it's basic to which BoA readily agrees. :)

problem 2. BoA doesn't know what's popular in Japan

The host asked what's popular in Korea and BoA doesn't know either! LOL!!
BoA "I know popular dramas because sometimes I watch them with my mom. I know the word baigaeshi* too."

*catchphrase from last year popular drama [Hanzawa Naoki]. BoA still hasn't watched it yet but showed interest in watching it.

The host then talked about popular things in Japan: jejeje, imadesho, garrett popcorn, asaibowl, yuruchara-kumamon and funasshi, reikoppu

The host suggests BoA uses the popular phrases they taught her in concerts. :P

Reikoppu is a mattress cleaner from Korea. Surprisingly BoA hasn't heard about it before. She immediately wants one and openly expressed her love for home appliances. LOL

Nicole "I went to SMTOWN concert last time and BoA's stage presence was no joke. And the last scene in SIO PV when she pulls the beanie down was so cool. Everyone should check it out."

The other guy host's SIO review: "Since early in her career, I like how BoA's songs have good beats but also beautiful melody. Same goes for SIO. It's a song I'd like to see BoA sing and dance to it live."
